We have a cover for Sharing Your Catholic Faith Story!

Completion of a bright, inspiring cover is the latest milestone leading to publishing Sharing Your Catholic Faith Story: Tools, Tips, and Testimonies.

When the editorial team started brainstorming about cover concepts, I didn’t have a clear vision of what art, lettering and colors would best convey the evangelization theme of the two parts of the book: learning the tools and tips to share our stories and enjoying the testimonies of 30 Catholics telling their conversion, renewal, and vocation stories. Our editor and graphic designer,

Lisa Nicholas of Mitey Editing was inspired by the raw manuscript and came up with the cover concept and design. The team suggested a few minor changes and declared it finished! What do you think?

The cover is meant to interest readers like you who tend to panic when asked about their Catholic faith. Sharing Your Catholic Faith Story: Tools, Tips, and Testimonies brings you resources to calm you down and build up your confidence. The book is based on 1 Peter 3:15,

Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope.

As the author, my mission is to embolden you to respond to the nudges of the Holy Spirit and evangelize through your conversion or renewal stories.

Part One: Tools and Tips

Sharing Your Catholic Faith Story has two parts. Part One answers the pivotal question, “How do I share my faith story?” I demonstrate, while telling my conversion story, how I overcame my reticence to share my faith. By the end of Part One, you have the tools to craft a compelling testimony. You will see how God narrates your life story to help you get to know and love yourself and to know and love him through a heart-to-heart relationship with him. Through your story, he reveals who he is and who you are as his beloved child.

Part One includes ten tips on how always to speak the truth in love to help you confidently share how God is writing his love story on your heart.

Part Two: Testimonies

In Part Two, the testimonies of 30 Catholics reveal the God-moments of joy that changed their lives forever through conversion, religious vocations, renewal or return to Catholicism. These awe-inspiring testimonies emphasize that sharing our Catholic faith story is how we live out our God-given identity as Spirit-filled evangelists.

This captivating combination of methods, motivation and models of Christian witness, delivers a one-volume awe-inspiring treasure to rouse the hearts of courageous readers like you who dare to become new witnesses of the new evangelization. Take to heart St. Paul’s encouragement to Timothy,

I remind you to stir into flame the gift of God that you have through the imposition of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice but rather of power and love and self-control. So do not be ashamed of your testimony to our Lord. (2 Timothy 1:16)
