Do you need time away to finish or start a manuscript? Work on that proposal? Organize your writing project? Finish work to meet your editor’s deadline? This retreat, offered every other year, is popular because it is a true writer’s retreat, offering you abundant time to work and time to critique with other Catholic writers. This retreat will be held October 6-10, 2019 in the beautiful St. Francis Retreat Center in DeWitt, MI.
This time is punctuated by edifying talks, reconciliation, benediction, and the holy sacrifice of the Mass.
Come! Delight in God’s Word and Sacrament. Delight in writing in a beautiful and serene retreat setting. Delight in meeting and sharing with other Catholic writers and publishers.
Cost of the retreat is $650.00 per person, and includes four nights’ accommodations and meals.

Retreat leader: Regina Doman
Regina Doman is a Catholic wife, mother, author and editor. As an author, she has written the Fairy Tale Novels, a series of books for teens and adults that places fairy tales in modern settings with Christian themes interwoven, and manga style biographies of both Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI and Pope Francis. Her picture book Angel in the Waters has sold over 150,000 copies. Regina and her husband Andrew live in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley on a homestead with their children.
She is a popular conference speaker, including our own CWCL events. In 2010, she received the American Chesterton Society’s “In Defense of Sanity” award, and in 2011, she won our Catholic Arts and Letters Award for Young Adult fiction.
