Dear Holy Spirit, please help us understand the joy of Jesus’ presence with us personally, in our Catholic parishes, our blessed country and the world. Jesus, You baptized us with water, the Holy Spirit and fire. Today, please, pour out more of your fire so we shall understand this great mystery of your gifts.

Before the mid-term election, I was focused on our human life and voting to protect innocent unborn life. During Advent, as an evangelist, I have been offering you some primary gifts of God to help you go deeper in our faith, to become disciples of Jesus. As we understand more of the mysteries wrapped around Jesus and his divine life in the church he founded, we get filled with more of God’s divine life and we have more grace to share God’s great gifts with those we meet during the week. We get drained when God’s grace in us flows out to those who have less. When we visit Jesus in one of the ancient churches or have some prayer time with him at home, we go to our “spiritual gas station” to get filled up again.

With Christmas, we are celebrating his birth, the birth of the greatest man who has ever lived on earth. Jesus was born in a cave in Bethlehem 2022 year ago because the Roman Empire calendar was off about 4 years. Do many in the world celebrate anyone’s birth with such festivities?

Gold nuggets

If you took my gold nuggets of earlier weeks and got Blessed Catherine Emmerich’s book, Volume 1, on “The Life of Jesus Christ and Biblical Revelations,” and purchased a copy of www.thetruefaceofjesus.com you will be electrified to understand more of the mystery surrounding the birth of Jesus.

The greatest gift Jesus left us from the Last Super, was himself in the Eucharistic bread and wine. As Jesus makes himself present most days all over the world, at Mass (Eucharist for the Romans) and the Divine Liturgy (Eucharist in the ancient Eastern churches),  Jesus continues to consecrate more of his “bread of Life,” because we keep giving him away for others. I have mentioned this many times before.

A new gem from heaven

The new gem from heaven is Eucharistic Adoration of Christ’s presence in our church tabernacles. If you take some time, after all the family presents, dinners and celebrations, make a visit to your parish church and go to the tabernacle. Sit in a front seat before Jesus in the tabernacle. Quiet your mind and body. Tell your body to “re-lax.” Then just keep saying, “Jesus, I love you,” many times. You cannot love Jesus more than he loves you. You will relax there with Jesus. Sing softly some ancient Christmas carols, like “O, come all you faithful,” and “Angels we have heard on high.” You will be adoring and praising Jesus along with the angels around you. Jesus will begin to pour into your heart more of his precious love for you. You will be amazed.

During this Holy Season, I am praying for all of you and your families to have a safe, joyous and amazing Christmas bathed in Christ’s awesome love for you. O, come let us adore him, Jesus, our Lord.

Love and blessings,
