The Jubilee of Mercy and ME!

Tjubilee of mercy logohe Jubilee of Mercy – Merciful like the Father, began December 8, 2015, and comes to a close on November 20, 2016. To reflect on how the Jubilee of Mercy relates to us each of us, let us meditate on Wisdom 11:22-12:2. We can personalize it by changing the scripture to relate to each of us.

Before the Lord the whole earth is a grain from a balance or a drop of morning dew come down upon the earth. But Lord you have mercy on ME because you can do all things.

You overlook MY sins that I may repent for you love all that is and you love ME and you loathe nothing that you have made; for what you hated you would not have fashioned; you fashioned ME and how could I remain unless you willed it or be preserved had I not been called forth by you?

But you spare ME because I am yours, O Lord and lover of souls, for your imperishable spirit is in ME!

Therefore you rebuke ME little by little and warn ME and remind ME of the sins I am committing that I may abandon my wickedness and believe in you, O Lord, for you are the Lord whose name is Mercy and you are Lord who has called ME into that Mercy to be with you and to give your Mercy to others.

How does this meditation make the Jubilee of Mercy personal to you?
